John 3:4 KJV:

This verse is spoken by the Apostle John, explaining the purpose of the manifestation of Jesus- to take away our sins, affirming the sinless nature of Jesus. He’s drawing on the idea that Jesus came into our world to destroy the works of the devil and set humanity free from the bondage of sin.
