Isaiah 53:12

”Therefore will I divide him into a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death. . .”

Isaiah the prophet gives a detailed description of the coming Messiah and the sacrifice that would be made to intercede for humanity. This was written over 700 years prior to Christ's death and gives details that create a narrative of the salvation of Christ dying for sins before the idea of the new covenant was created.
